At Orange Tree Children's Nursery we believe in the importance of fostering creativity in our children from a young age. We believe that creating an environment that engages and encourages children's creativity will help them develop mentally, socially and emotionally.
There are many studies which demonstrate the link between creative play, arts & crafts with mental and social development in children. Artistic play may also help boost young children's problem solving skills and analytical development, whilst using tools such as a paintbrush helps to develop their fine motor skills, incorporating games such as counting pieces and colors develops basic maths and help to enable a safe environment for our children to experiment with confidence, they are free to make mistakes and to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the walls of our nursery!
The IPC student is expected to achieve a minimum standard in each of the six content learning areas. The IPC believes that children will develop at varying paces and therefore structures its learning objectives into three distinct levels. The IPC Student Profile encompasses a wide range of intellectual developmental areas with an aim of harnessing a well rounded child that is fully prepared for further educational endeavors.
